Jan Dobber

Jan Dobber has been active in the financial industry since 1985. After working for Amro Bank he joined the newly founded Optiver-group. Optiver became a leading trading firm with a global presence in both the cash- and derivatives markets. During his Optiver years he started as a trader and as the company grew rapidly his management duties expanded accordingly. Since leaving Optiver he is active as an investor in both (hedge-)funds and direct investments in various companies. Banks and other financial institutions often rely on his expertise on (financial) market related issues.

Hans van Hoof

Hans van Hoof has held senior positions within European financial institutions for almost 20 years. During this time he has been: Senior Portfolio Manager with PVF Pension funds in Amsterdam, responsible for $2.5bn European equity funds; Senior Risk Manager and Deputy Head of global equity derivatives with Paribas Capital Markets in London; Managing Director with Bankers Trust in London, responsible for M&A arbitrage, Derivatives arbitrage and Venture Capital investments. Following this he was CEO and Chairman of Soros Funds Ltd. He then founded and was Managing Partner of VHC Partners LLP/ VHC International Ltd., an investment management group, based in Jersey which ultimately managed some $850m. In 2006 Hans withdrew from operational involvement with VHC and has since been involved in various projects including Charitable and Private Equity investments. Hans also currently has other directorships - executive and non-executive - in companies in Europe, the USA and Canada.
